SCOPING STUDY ALMOST COMPLETED

The Scoping Study is almost completed, we will be presenting this to SEEDA in the very near future (hopefully the beginning of Feb, watch this space for future updates.)

We have been looking at various ships and three Type 42 Destroyers are becoming available very soon. If the pitch to SEEDA is successful then we are hoping that YOU the public may even get to choose from one of the following vessels

*HMS Cardiff
*HMS Glasgow
*HMS Newcastle

If anyone has any connection with any of the vessels, or knows of any stories surrounding them, we would be very grateful to hear from you, please email us at info@sinkone4seaford.co.uk or post your comments if you prefer :-)

Hi, Sinking ships and creating an artificial reef is a fantastic idea, especially for the local divers AND fishermen. However, the tide in seaford is often very strong and everyone who has tried to anchor there will tell you. I am sure you guys have already done your research but the ships will have to be fairly close inshore so that they can be accessible for divers wanting to get to it on a kayak. (1nm max)
